A city after dark
The album begins with entering the night. A late train carries the listener past familiar places, while traffic lights, quiet cafés, and passing windows create fragments of other lives.
As the songs move deeper into the city, the outside movement begins to echo an inner one. There are wrong turns, unfinished conversations, brief connections, and the feeling of being surrounded by people while still trying to understand what comes next.
Finding a direction
The story does not end with every question resolved. It ends with a quieter form of clarity — the sense that direction can be found while moving, not only before the journey begins.
Musically, Lines in Motion brings Reiea’s airy and intimate vocal identity into a warm fusion of modern pop, jazz, and sophisticated funk. Rhodes-style keys, clean guitar, melodic bass, live drums, and spacious arrangements give the album room to breathe.
